NONONO!!! NO BREEDING ALLOWED!!! ONE IS ENOUGH!!! NO TEBOW SPAWN!!!

Yo! What happened to all the TEBOW TOASTERS???? They head for the hills after that thrashing? Never mind his 9/26 throwing percentage, what was the REAL TRUE percentage taking into account the number of times he dropped back to pass. I’ll bet he tried to pass 35 times and completed 9. That is his real percentage!!!!
Now not all of that is his fault, because his line was a sieve, BUT he is not good at reading the pro defenses and takes too long to make a throwing decision, that is why his REAL percentage is so low – under 30%!!!!

Now I don’t want to be too hard on TIM because he has been seriously let down by his coaches and that so-called offensive co-ordinator. If the OC and the head coach, want to design an offensive built around TEBOW, then they had better do some goddam homework, other than watching the odd CHASE DANIELS re-play.

First of all they have to come to some kind of understanding of SINGLE WING and SHORT PUNT football – see RED SANDERS UCLA 1948-
1958, read DON FARROULT’S book on the SPLIT-T option series, (BUD WILKSINSON would help too) then try to UNDERSTAND, as clearly they do NOT, how these formations morphed into today’s SPREAD OPTION OFFENCES. The SINGLE WING was, and still is, hands down the best balanced of any offensive formation. It has the best power, the best deception, and the best passing threats, BUT the SW had ONE enormous FLAW, and that is it needed a TB (QB) who was a good runner AND a good passer. Something very hard to find 50 years ago in ONE guy. So after WW II the SW dissapeared, BUT these coaches, most of whom have their heads in the sand, never saw the BIG CHANGE coming, and it started in the 1970′s. But they did see it first of all here in Canada, and that was the emergence of THE BLACK QB’s who could always run, now they were encouraged to learn how to pass as well.

There used to be some idea that there was a bias in the NFL against black – QBs. Nonsense!. This is professional football, they would use anyone if he can win. They said the NFL had a bias against WARREN MOON, ANDRE WARE, CHARLIE WARD, CONREDGE HOLLOWAY! They DID, but not BECAUSE THEY WERE BLACK, BUT BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL UNDER 6’2. When finally a prototype black NFL QB came along who was 6’5, they lept at him – DOUG WILLIAMS. Then we had the MICHAEL VICKS, CAM NEWTONS, DONOVAN McNABS, VINCE YOUNGS etc. But these coaches still did not see the handwriting on the wall. Now they are loosening up and giving these guys chances to be double threats. But to do that, They need to learn how and why option plays work whether in the SPIT T or SPREAD offence. This lack of understanding as exhibited by the LSU QB JEFFERON is the main reason why BAMA waxed LSU. This guy (and again I blame the coaches) had no idea of HOW and WHY an option play is used, and MILES insisted on running it, as the QB constantly stretched it ACROSS the field!!!

If you are serioue about using TEBOW, then the offence has to be designed around him, and his pros and cons. He is a good hard, but not elsuive runner. To complement him you need a SECOND back involved in EVERY play. This back must be alternated between a fast, elusive runner (there are about 100 of them in the NFL) and a tough, hard nose, and expendable true PASSING quarterback who can run well enough to keep the defenses honest and who is a much, much better passer than TT.

This way you have THREE offensive weapons 1.TEBOW with all his legtimate benefits, 2. An African American standard NFL running back (white guys can’t jump and they can’t play RB’s – TT is basically TOBY GEHART with a medicore arm) who has power, speed and is a breakaway threat and 3. Any of about ten CFL BLACK quarterbacks who can pass rings around TT, and are also good running threats.

NOW the defense really has to respect everything. you can keep TT in for 90% of the plays, as long as he is complemented by the ONE of the other two threats. Also TT can block and knock people down, which I assure you, he loves to do.

I feel for this fine young man, because now he has stepped on his willy in front of the ENTIRE football world. Now the COACHES may just let him take the blame and dump him. And if they do, they will have missed a real opportunity, because depsite my recent criticisms of him, I do think he is truly valuable, but to do so, you need, SMARTER and more CREATIVE Offensive coaches.
