Just when you thought the city of Cleveland had moved past LeBron James, Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars pulls them right back in.
Could the Jaguars, Maurice Jones-Drew Benefit from Signing T.O.?
With Terrell Owens on the job hunt and let’s be honest the Jacksonville Jaguars really not having a great WR could this be a good fit for T.O. and the Jags? If Jacksonville signed T.O. this would give Blaine Gabbert someone to throw to that can catch the ball and make the Jags not just one-dimensional either. The Jags offense is a one man show right now with Maurice Jones-Drew allowing opposing teams to just focus on him and that’s it. T.O. offers height and average speed he also brings a lot of experience which is lacking. His attitude could be a problem but then again just throw him the ball and he is happy and a happy T.O. is a dangerous T.O.
The Jags are in need of a big name player to add for some excitement and to help MJD as well he is having a tough year because all the focus his on him and they have no one else for the other to prepare for.T.O. could teach Blaine Gabbert what being an NFL is all about and make him a better QB. T.O. could save Jack Del Rio’s job at the end of the season too. There are some people who will disagree with me but that’s ok. T.O. can still play and contribute on team like the Jags.
The Jags have nothing to lose here and everything to gain. Their season is on the verge of tanking so what would it hurt to bring in T.O and see what he can offer. If he plays well awesome, if not oh well; your season was bad to start with. T.O. can and will play again in the NFL so hopefully it’s with the Jags.
The Jags need help so why not let give T.O. a shot? He knows whichever team takes a chance on him it is his last chance to play and he better do it right. I think he will show us how good he really is and shut up while doing it too.
