Oakland Raiders Concept Helmet

Charles Sollers, a photographer from Missouri for Rivals.com has created a new concept design for Oakland Raiders helmets and they are stunning.

By now you have probably seen some of Sollers work as he also has provided images of college team helmets and uniforms.

    I heard the broncos are changing helmet designs to. Getting rid of horse and just going with horseshoe

    Please don’t screw with the helmet.  A skull makes it look too much like the one on the Buccaneers flag.  Tradition has its place, and the new uniforms are all full of suck.

    black one is too over the top…silly; looks like you’re copying the wild changes done by the college teams. Gray one looks pretty cool.

    Nice designs…. but Raider Blood ain’t “nice” and we ain’t “pretty”.  We make our statements with our PLAYBOOK not the Fashion Cat Walk.  Stay away from our designs… and let our players just kick ass.     From a someone who’s blood RUNS Silver & Black!

    I have been trying to mention kevlar (Kevlar® aramid fiber | DuPont) helmets to my Jags. It is better material for impacts… kind of interested as to how they will look in a game now.

    i like the new designs also,but i would like to see them wore sometimes instead of the throwback helmet and uniform .but at the end of the day ask the players.

    Yeah, it’s a great college helmet for whoever…not a pro look! I’m a Niners fan but agree with the Raider fans that say keep the helmet the same! I think the insignia has always been one of the hottest looking in the NFL. Keep the tradition alive–keep the badass helmet!

    Raider for life is right on! One of the best helmet designs of all time along with the Colts, Packers, Cowboys (although I hate the Cowboys), Bears, Giants, and the other traditionals. Don’t screw with it! Changing the uniform won’t make the team better!

    I’d buy one of them helmets… cool looking.. id like to see the raiders incorporate these new style of helmets as well as holding on to our traditional hemets.. I say go for it.!!

    As an outsider lookin in (Eagles fan), i agree with the hardcore Raiders fans overall. The new design is beautiful but you dont F*** with tradition that long standing. The silver & black’s been runnin as strong 4 so long because it looks good & always had. If it aint broke, dont fix it! The fan base is strong & uniform is just the same. I would like 2 see it as a pre-season alt though! The helmet is Money!!!

    “…they are stunning.” STUNNING??? This ain’t no fashion show, this is RAIDERS FOOTBALL! The RAIDERS don’t walk down friggin runways, they play FOOTBALL ON TURF!!! Who the HELL wrote that??? The RAIDERS logo and football helmet is SACRED! Go re-design the cheerleaders uniforms and calendars, LEAVE THE HELMETS AND UNIFORMS ALONE!!!

    Die-hard Steeler fan here. The Raiders have the best helmet in the NFL.  I can’t believe they would even consider changing it.  DON’T DO IT.
