Seahawks will welcome Harvin’s former team, Vikings
The problem, instead of a star receiver entering his prime, Harvin was full of them. According to ESPN.com another GM stated “Harvin has been kicked out of programs his whole life,” the GM said. “Not just in the NFL, but in high school and junior high. He has never proven to be sustainably coachable.”
There was bad blood between Harvin and the Vikings and now, in 2013, they travel to face the new-look Seahawks and Percy Harvin.
The Seahawks don’t see Harvin as a problem, they see him as a unique talent and someone whose unrelenting competitiveness — a source of trouble for Harvin, particularly in his youth — mirrors the very essence of coach Pete Carroll’s program.
Drafted 22nd overall in 2009 he was a star at the University of Florida and has been a star in the NFL since.
“The best all around player I ever seen or you’ll ever see!” former teammate Adrian Peterson tweeted after the Vikings shipped Harvin to Seattle. “I feel like I just got kicked in the stomach.”
Odds are so will the Vikings after visiting Seattle.
