Could Ryan Griffin be the future for the Saints?
Ask any NFL General Manager and they will tell you they always want a young quarterback to develop.
The four-year letterman played in 42 games for Tulane completing 836-of-1396 passes (.599) for 9,026 yards, 56 touchdowns and 35 interceptions while catching a pass for 15 yards and scoring one rushing touchdown.
He set Tulane career records in pass attempts, completions, completion percentage and finished second in passing yards, passing yards per game, and completions per game.
Griffin utilized his time during the preseason as he completed 32 of 59 passes for 380 yards with two touchdowns and one interceptions.
As an NFL rookie free agent Griffin seems to be the third option for the Saints who only have Like McCown behind Drew Brees. uf
