God and the NFL Give Tebow, Broncos a Playoff Win
Did anyone else find it odd that the officials in the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers playoff game were named Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John?
Or was it just a conspiracy by the NFL to make sure Tim Tebow continued further into the playoffs, because there was no way he should have won…right?
Since Timmy has God’s attention its free-for-all for all the sinners?
What has Tebow done to deserve such luck and goodness. Is it prayer, his good nature, the fact that he is still a virgin? What is it?
What has he done that others have not that God has given him the strength to do things that no one thinks he can.
Maybe it’s the NFL who had to remind us about the new overtime rules.
We have heard it all during the 2011 NFL season about Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. They say he can’t pass, makes a good running back, is too religious, is a descendant of God and that he will never last in the National Football League. No matter the story Tim Tebow equals ratings and his rise to stardom in the NFL has been the story that can’t miss. To think the NFL would not find a way to make sure Tim Tebow continues in the playoffs would be insane.
Just ask CBS how important Mr. Tebow and “Tebow Time” is. Nearly 80 percent of the nation received the Patriots-Broncos game and CBS averaged a 19.5 percent of homes in 56 major markets. That was the second best figure in the regular season in 14 seasons since CBS reacquired the NFL in 1998. Now they get the chance to show it again!
It’s not only the game that is getting the ratings. Helped by the Tim Tebow-led Broncos vs. Patriots showdown, which drew nearly 30 million viewers in its prime-time runover, CBS’ 60 Minutes (18.5 million) had its best showing in nearly two years.
Step back for a minute and remember the NFL is a business and money is the goal. Put aside your favorite team, players and love for the game and remember that we just experienced a lockout that almost left NFL fans without a 2011 season. Money was the cause and the money that Tim Tebow is making for the NFL is off the charts.
ESPN stated, after the victory the state of Colorado converted its time zone from Mountain Time to Tebow Time.
Still no word on how this miraculous victory actually happened.
