Buffalo Bills 2013 NFL Draft: 4-Round projections
The Buffalo Bills in 2012 left plenty to be desired. Was the Mario Williams signing really worth it when he didn’t do anything to change the team? I think it showed when the Texans were able to replace him with such ease that they knew he wasn’t what he used to be. Yet, the Bills fell for it, they fell for the name and who he used to be and ended up wasting money. While trying to upgrade their defense, they didn’t do anything to find competition for Ryan Fitzpatrick who has fallen off the map after signing a big time contract. Once again, the Bills continue to waste money and Chan Gailey paid for it. Gailey was fired and replaced with Doug Marrone from Syracuse.
General Manager Buddy Nix somehow managed to survive and if he doesn’t do anything to help put a winning team together in 2013, his head will be next on the chopping block. He talked about getting that franchise quarterback, but as I have said countless times, this is a weak quarterback class and there is nobody that sticks out the way Andrew Luck and RG3 did. I feel for any team, it will be a big gamble for them to take a chance on any quarterback in the first round but someone has to do it right….
