Kelly was played by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and was described as the All-American-Girl. She was the most popular girl in school and as a cheerleader everyone including Zack and A.C. Slater wanted her. It was Zack who eventually won her heart and ended up marrying her.
Did you know, Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) and Thiessen, as well as Jennie Garth (from Beverly Hills 90120), auditioned for the role of Kelly Kapowski. Both Thiessen and Garth would later work together on Beverly Hills, 90210.
Thiessen got her start in beauty pageants and model searches before going on to become one of America’s favorite ’90s sweethearts. Since Saved by the Bell she has appeared on over 20 different sitcoms most recently White Collar.
