Trent Richardson not able to decide if he’s injury prone

Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson doesn’t want to be known as injury prone, but it’s not his choice to decide these matters.

According to ESPNCleveland.com, Richardson will be held out until August to avoid further injury to a recent leg injury.

He strained a muscle in his right leg and the Browns fear that the injury could lead to a possible stress fracture.

Last preseason Richardson went through a knee procedure, then during the season, he suffered broken ribs.

Is this a trend of what is to come?

“Injury-prone is not going to be me,” Richardson said, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “It’s just a mindset and I know that’s not me.”

It’s not a mindset when freak injuries continue to happen. Sure, proper training and a strong mindset help the matters, but ultimately injuries happen. Sometimes injuries continuously happen to good players. Let’s just hope Trent Richardson isn’t one of those players.
